“We stayed two nights, to go to a musical and tour downtown with friends. The room was well appointed, and the bed and bath linens excellent. The price was good and included the solid Hampton Inn breakfast with lots of items and choices. Nice vintage bldg We begged for an early check in when we arrived but they couldn't accomodate, so no shower after the red-eye. And one of the two treadmills in the tiny and sparse fitness room was not working.”

“Great location in the Loop above an existing theater. An older building that was restored into a hotel so it has character. You are within walking distance to many attractions, the River Walk and the lake shore. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Complimentary hot breakfast and the hostess, Ismeta, was the highlight of our stay. She made sure we had enough to eat (waffles), coffee, water, everything we needed and with an exuberance and kindness that you don’t often see. She set the tone for the start of our day. What a great experience!”
