“The TRYP was a hotel that gave me mixed feelings. On one hand it was located in a decent area that is close enough to times square, but as we all know well nothing is truly close in New York so use the subway near the hotel. Also the hotel is on an odd street where there is construction and a police precinct next to it, but just on the street over you will find lovely small restaurants for your fill. The staff were okay, odd they would make you pay $15 for each hour before your check-in, but again they are alright. The walls are thin in the rooms but overall comfortable. The sheets weren't the cleanest and the heating wasn't working during the visit. But overall it was okay. It fulfilled the basic expectations and a little more for a weekend trip. Hope this review helps!”

“They gave us a room sharing doors with another room. It was not a happy experience to be woken up at midnight by the neighbors.
It took them a night to fix the missing shower curtain. And there are stains on towels as well.
The front desk is very nice though. And the room is of good size, given its location and price. Still recommend to those looking for around $150 per night.”
