“Was there for eight days in May and loved this place. There was a good variety of tasty food, wonderful drinks and fantastic service. The staff is very professional, friendly, helpful and courteous. Yes, the hotel needs to be updated but then it would cost more and lose its Latin flavor. It would be nice to have elevators because I’m 73 with bad knees but I got around fine while there, the staff was very attentive to my needs. The seaweed on the beach is a problem but it comes from Brazil and covers a very large area of the ocean, but it is nothing that is caused by the hotel. The staff is out there every morning raking it up, doing everything they can to help the situation. This is the only hotel I saw around there that actually looks like a Mexican hotel. The rest of the hotels look like big concrete boxes on the outside, in no way resembling Mexican culture. I immensely enjoyed my stay here and already have reservations for another week in October.”
