Lamentable estancia en este hotel que mas que histórico, es casposo, detalles poco cuidados y de servicios muy muy caros... los restaurantes son muy caros y malos, te sirven para cenar macarrones recalentados, secos y duros, por 58€. No cumplen las medidas covid que ellos han implantado, sobretodo en el gym que el aforo se duplica a ciertas horas y no limpian las maquinas. Muy decepcionados con la estancia, viven del exito de hace 50 años, necesita una reforma integral urgente y tratar mejor a los huespedes, sobretodo en la playa ya que el servicio que ofrecen es muy limitado y muy caro. No volveremos ni lo recomendaremos. Una lastima... todo esto pagando mas de 800€ por noche, encima no te dan ni un agua en la habitación junior suite que tenemos. De lo peor con 5 estrellas que he estado...

Carísimo, y problemas económicos no tengo. Fuimos a coger las camas balinesas mi chica y yo, las cuales ocupan toda la playa limitando así el uso público de la misma. Nos sorprendió el elevado precio de 60€ por dichas camas, en consecuencia nos fuimos a la ínfima parte "pública" de la playa con la final y penosa decepción de descubrir que me había dejado unas zapatillas de 100€(Nike daybreak SP azul y blanco) nuevecitas en dichas camas albergando la esperanza de encontrarlas en su sitio. Sorpresa, al volver al rato habían desaparecido. Si tanto dinero tiene el personal de la zona, ¿cómo es esto posible?. Yo pensaba que existía elegancia y decencia pero fue decepcionante.

UNA GRAN DECEPCIÓN!! El servicio y las instalaciones no están acordes a un hotel 5 estrellas!! La verdad es que no me esperaba semejante mal trato, ni servicio tan pobre para un hotel que pagamos más de Eu1000 la noche! Llegamos hoy a las 6 de la tarde muertos de hambre, ya q salimos a las 11 de la mañana de nuestra casa para tomar el avión y luego auto para llegar al hotel, que queda en un lugar maravilloso y espectacular pero en una punta, una cala después de una sierra alta que atravesar y lo único qué hay es el hotel. Resulta que no teníamos nada para comer en la piscina o la playa, solo room service. Después de 3 meses de cuarentena las 3 niñas lo único q querían era ir al agua, y poder comer ahí... pero nada!! A pesar que la ocupación del hotel es muy baja y casi no se ve gente, les pedimos x favor si nos podían dar un snack en la piscina o llevar del room service a la piscina o a un sector de pérgola en el exterior.... pero todo fue una negativa y la respuesta del recepcionista fue muy pobre, como que no le importaba si necesitábamoscomer algo y al exterior. Solo queríamos picar a la vez ver q las pequeñas en la piscina estuvieran bien, en un lugar con mar, sol, 34 grados, en temporada de verano y no encerrados en una habitación pequeña, vieja, encerrada y mal mantenida. Lamentablemente no hay otro lugar a donde poder ir a comer, y este hotel 5 estrellas cierra su cocina de la piscina y la playa desde las 4 a las 8hs.(que abre único restaurante de la noche que es buffet!) Los inconvenientes siguieron al punto tal de hacernos sentir mal x estar pidiendo comer al exterior en plena cala de Mallorca em temporada alta de vacaciones de verano!! El bar de la piscina cerró a las 18hs. Y ya no se podía tomar nada más ahí.... En vez de empezar el happy hour a esa hora cierran!! El agua de las duchas casi no sale, salen 4 chorros, el grifo para lavarse las manos hace casi imposible q entren las manos de lo corto que es...es muy a viejo todo... En los mini bar y heladeras no hay nada, solo dejan dos aguas pequeñas para 5 personas y ya!! Prepárense para una buena ducha con agua que oscila entre el quemado y congelado... xq así Sale el poco Agua q sale, entre hirviendo y congelada...!!! Ahhh no se olviden que si quieren un sombrilla (eu10)+ unas hamacas (eu16 x c/u) en la playa.... es extra y este precio es solo xq somos del hotel...o sea para 5 son casi Eu 80 x extra x día en la playa! ES UNA VERGÜENZA de hotel, no alcanza el nivel de un 5 estrellas ni el precio que pagamos, una lástima, ya que teníamos gran expectativa del hotel. Esperemos que el resto de los lugares que nos quedan x ir em Mallorca nos traten mejor !!

Fizemos a segunda sinfonia de mahler com o coro da câmara, o Orfeon catalão, a Filarmônica de Munique dirigida por Dudamel. Para um público seleto em um espaço incrível.

Uma famosa jóia enterrada no paraíso! Ao subir e descer as estradas sinuosas da montanha, você se aproxima da entrada de um resort cinco estrelas com uma herança e legado abundantes (Winston Churchill já esteve aqui quando era PM, Charly Chaplin e muitos outros) aninhado entre as montanhas, vegetação luxuriante e da praia. Todos os que tornam este local imbatível em Maiorca ou mesmo em muitas partes do mundo. Bem vindo ao céu!Ao entrar na recepção do hotel e na área do saguão, você pode sentir o cheiro de lírios frescos (em variedades de cores) de seus jardins. Ao olhar para as grandes janelas da sacada, você vê um cenário do palácio real como exuberantes jardins verdes entre um mar azul e turquesa brilhante. Esta é uma das características mais originais do resort e uma que você terá que voltar a este hotel e outra vez.Os quartos reflectem uma herança e design tradicional, mas são muito acolhedores e limpos, com vistas maravilhosas sobre o mar e jardins. O café da manhã é um dos melhores que eu já provei na Espanha e na Europa, com uma enorme variedade de itens saudáveis, todos produzidos na hora, a maioria dos quais parece vir de seus próprios jardins. Você começa a desfrutar deste buffet do belo terraço com vista para os arredores do hotel. Uma excelente vista para a refeição mais importante do dia. Todas as refeições que tivemos no hotel foram excelentes, incluindo o serviço de quarto que pedimos na primeira noite.O hotel tem uma grande variedade de comodidades, incluindo uma academia voltada para o mar, área de spa, quadra de tênis e um campo de mini-golfe para crianças. Devido à localização, pode facilmente visitar os locais turísticos circundantes, bem como Pollenca e Alcudia.A equipe foi bem falada e foram excelentes e extremamente útil em todas as horas do dia. Tivemos uma viagem muito memorável e certamente voltaremos no futuro próximo.Amit Sidhpura

A famous gem buried in paradise! As you drive up and down the windy mountain roads, you approach the entrance of a five-star resort with an abundance of heritage and legacy (Winston Churchill once stayed here when he was PM, Charly Chaplin and many others) nestled between the mountains, lush greenery and the beach. All of which make this location unbeatable in Mallorca or even many parts of the world. Welcome to heaven!As you enter the hotel reception and lobby area, you can smell fresh cut lilies (in assortments of colour) from their gardens. As you stare out the large bay windows you see a backdrop of royal palace like lush green gardens in-between a bright blue and turquoise sea. This is one of the most unique features of the resort and one that will have you coming back to this hotel time and time again.The rooms reflect a heritage and traditional design, yet are very cosy and clean with wonderful views of the sea and gardens. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever enjoyed in Spain and Europe, with a huge range of healthy items all freshly produced, most of which seem to come from their own gardens. You get to enjoy this buffet from beautiful terrace overlooking the surrounds of the hotel. A great view for the most important meal of the day. All the meals we had at the hotel were excellent, including the room service we ordered on the first night.The hotel has a great range of amenities, including a sea-facing gym, spa area, a tennis court and a mini-golf course for kids. Due to the location, you can easily drive out to visit the surrounding tourist sites, as well as Pollenca and Alcudia.The staff were well spoken and were great and extremely helpful throughout all hours of the day. Beautiful gardens sandwichesin the garden expensive but worth the setting

A beautiful hotel in the perfect location for a relaxing break. As soon as you enter the hotel foyer, you feel a sense of calm and relaxation; the view of the gardens and smell of the fresh flowers greets you immediately. The garden’s are so beautiful and it’s so relaxing to wander through them, the private beach is also a great space to relax and unwind. Finally, the spa is definitely worth visiting too. A beautiful hotel with so many perks, I wish we could have stayed here for an extra few days to make the most of it.

Great hotel. Great location. One issue was the toilets had issues letting out a sewage smell which didnt contribute to any "royal hideaway" sentiments.

The hotel offers a private parking just at the entrance of their private beach for 20€ per day and 2 sunbeds for 80€. You think that with these prices you would get the best service. Well no...they are all rude and do nothing for you. If you are hungry or thirsty you help yourself, go to the bar, pay almost 30€ for a so and so sangria and take it back to your sunbed. Nobody moves a finger for customers. After spending the day at their private beach I see that my car had been opened and some thefts took away my suitcase and back-bag since I had my flight back home on the same day. I immediately looked for the person in charge of security who, with very rude manners, tells me that she is not responsible and that she is also alone for the safety of the entire establishment. The same person tells me that it is very common for the thefts to be in the area but of course they told me that when it was already too late. The lack of professionalism was indescribable without mentioning the lack of support and help given the circumstances. I have been trying to post this review on TripAdvisor but apparently they don’t let customers put this kind of bed reviews in their website.

Nice space with great views, beautiful flowers all around and a private beach. Pool table and grand piano in the bar. Cocktails were very sweet as lots of fruit syrups used instead of fresh fruit.

Falta playa o sobramos los visitantes. Un magnífico paisaje.

Staff was amazing and always remembered us. Lovely gardens, heated pool, amazing views, softest sheets in the world.

I think we found our peace of heaven. Great service. Absolutely beautiful place.

Ehemalige Urlaubs Domizil von Whinston Churchill! A Royal Hideaway, set in very picturesque gardens with the most astonishing view from the bay of Formentor across to Port de Pollença. The Hotel Personal are professional and friendly. The Gastronomie is from a high quality, which does however reflect the Price. UNFORTUNATELY I have to remove one star due to the fact that this (5 star) house is really needs a refurbishment, from the basement up. I was here 4 years ago and things that needed repairing then still need repairing now , which is confusing as the hotel is closed for 5 months in winter, thus having enough time to repair and decorate. At this rateand if it not decorated this winter, I could imagine the hotel could be demoted to a 4* house, this would be very saddening.

Every summer we have spent at least one day on the beach at Hotel Formentor, enjoying its wonderful position, inviting sea and the fine service of the beach staff. Alas the latter was nowhere to be...
