La verdad ha sido mi hotel por años pero ayer salí más que decepcionada cobran en quetzales no en dolares esto hace que la habitación suba 15 dolares más no es lógico maltratar al turista los pasillos del piso 3 huelen mal y las habitaciones son simples y ni decoradas . En la madrugada trataron de abrir mi puerta en dos ocasiones uno llama a recepción y nadie me ayudo califico en re mal este hotel

El Westin en Ciudad de Guatemala es sin duda el mejor hotel de la ciudad. Habitaciones amplias con todas las amenities necesarias. Cómodas camas y espaciosa ducha. Quizá la dimensión del cuarto de baño podría ser un poco mayor… El desayuno absolutamente fantástico con una gran selección de frutas, zumos. Preparación de huevos en el acto, frijol, plátano frutos, salchichas.. gran variedad y calidad. También de panes y dulces. Gimnasio con todas las máquinas que uno pueda necesitar. Cintas de correr de última generación. Piscina agradable y grande. Zonas comunes decoradas con gran gusto. Mi recomendación número uno en Guate!!

Fuimos a desayunar u me gustó que la atención fue eficiente y rápida!! Pedimos un desayuno americano y otro chapín y todo muy rico. El encontrar parqueo es un poco difícil pero esta bien porque si tienen bastantes sótanos.

Great Place for hosting Expos and Parties, there is a nice and cozy restaurant inside the hotel that serves good food, it is close to the pool. The granite in the corridors and walls makes you feel in a Royal Palace, it gives an elegant touch to the place

I recently booked a hotel room at the Westin Camino Real in Guatemala. My booked date was for a 1 night stay from 6/13/21-6/14/21. I notified Marriott (since they cover for Westin Hotels) that I ended up getting COVID-19 so I could not travel and stay at the hotel. I did not contact the hotel directly since my cell phone plan does not allow me to call outside the USA to Guatemala. Marriott informed me that they would cancel my hotel reservation and also stated that I would not receive a refund or any credit voucher for a future hotel stay. The lady that I spoke to was rude in her demeanor while relaying this message. I was shocked by Marriott’s refund/hotel credit denial responseespecially since there is currently a pandemic and I was being responsible by not traveling and following my quarantine recommendations. I currently work on the frontlines at a hospital putting myself at risk to help others during the pandemic and this was disappointing that Marriott did not help me when I ended up getting COVID-19. This resulted in me losing $125.66. Given my experience, I will not be recommending any hotel chains owned by Marriott especially Westin.

Very nice hotel, with great staff,, in a decent area with lots of different restaurants and shopping. My only complaint was that the included breakfast was a little lackluster. Other than that, the amenities were above par.

Every time I go to Guatemala city for any reason, this is my place to stay. From the front desk personnel to the crew that cleans the rooms, these folks make me feel at home. I've heard from friends that there are nicer hotels in Guatemala city and I don't doubt it. But if this hotel meets my demanding needs with a smile on their faces why change it? Great hotels and great service doesn't come together too often. This hotel meets both.

I liked the hotel. The room was excellent. The arcane way they handle checking out. It took forever, you had to sign various papers which they counter signed and stamped....

Excellent location, excellent price, great room, recommend eating somewhere else. The breakfast buffet was good, lunch and dinner choices were not good. Staff was attentive and very helpful except for the front desk. Room staff helpful, concierge was very helpful, bell captain was excellent. The location was excellent and easy access to Zona Viva the lively area for shopping, dining and entertainment. Food and food service at the hotel was bad. The waitress brought the wrong order and did not understand English or Spanish well.

The access cards into rooms failed on numerous occasions. So we had to go back to the front desk form the 8th floor. We asked to repair the AC units in both rooms several times. It took till the next day after going to the front desk and complain. The customer service was a complete negative at this hotel. We spent money on rooms and still my friend had to go to another hotel for one night until straighten out. Dcor. They refused to let my friend staying in the room to bring his girlfriend in. so he had to get another room till the next day till I took care.
