This place is awesome. It was my first time seeing the Pacific Ocean and I couldn't have imagined it better than staying at this resort. Service is impeccable as you would expect from Ritz Carlton. Hotel staff is on top of everything. Highly recommended! I do have a few thoughts/tweaks about the rooms: 1. Slippers should be provided especially with carpet in the rooms. 2. Room lighting needs more ambiance. Bathroom lights are blinding in the middle of the night. The makeup mirror was tied into the overhead lights so I couldn't use that as an ambient light to navigate in the middle of the night. 3. Two towels per day per room? No turndown so towels don't get refreshed twice a day. We requested more the first day, but I didn't ask again so we didn't get more. Sorry for complaining but maybe it might help? Thanks for a great vacation! Hope to be back soon!

My husband has been going through cancer treatment for almost two years and we finally decided it was time to get out and enjoy ourselves. While we are long time Marriott guests we have never stayed at a Ritz property and we were thrilled at out first stay. The front desk hosts, Jan and Joanna, were beyond kind and delightful and everyone that helped my husband book this trip was incredibly helpful. He has some specific post surgery needs and everything was accommodated. The rest of the staff was just as lovely and then the hotel itself is truly beautiful. The calm and soft decor, the magnificent structure, the beautiful natural rock theme throughout topped off by the unparalleled view of the Bay and golf course - made for an exceptionally special getaway. We are grateful to the generous kindness of everyone we encountered and hope to return to continue to celebrate my husbands health in the future. You have outdone yourselves in maintaining this treasured place. Thank you!

This place is ocean frontage and ideal for people that play golf and also a trail for easy hike. The views are awesome around the property, between the golf course and the Sea. The three restaurant can be access with $25 parking with most dish costing $40. The staff are really friendly and smile lot. No hotel stay necessary for the ocean views and $200 spa. The sunset rooms about $400, mine was free. Dinner with wine $150 and do it sunset time. The rooms are spacious with marble bathroom, very clean. The cost might be pricey but no other hotels close by less you go pass Santa Cruz. You deserve to Put It On Ritz. My My the credit card.

What a magnificent property. The hotel is very nice but you’re here for the coastal view, outdoor fire pits and the amazing restaurants. Room was nice but small. Had a fire pit over looking the ocean. Very relaxing. Can’t wait to come back. Walking trails just outside the hotel. Beautiful!

Came here for a conference and it was a wonderful place to stay. Spectacular views, large and well-appointed rooms, friendly & helpful staff, and, of course, amazing views. Take time to enjoy a walk along the coast and warm up at one of the fire pits in the evening. The food is great here, too with lots of healthy options. Every area has fresh flowers placed throughout the property.

The hotel is way understaffed and were out of a lot of drinks and food. They should discount this hotel way down or not even open till they are ready. Was not a Ritz experience. Experience was not up to the Ritz standard.

The views and customer service are definitely the highlights of the hotel. The hotel staff was very accommodating. The room requested was not available the first night of the stay (requested a King bed for our honeymoon and there were only double bed rooms available).

The staff was amazing! Very helpful and pleasant. This resort was fabulous, perched on the edge of a cliff with beautiful views of the ocean and golf course during the day and fire pits to enjoy in the evenings.
