“💎 Hidden Gem! In truth, booked this hotel for a few days after reading the reviews. The reviewers either LOVED it or HATED it. We decided to take a chance. Most of the complaints seemed specific to the person and/or their travel preferences rather than overall issues that would affect ALL travelers.
THE LOBBY: The initial LOBBY is basically a bar. Its eclectic. There IS another lounge area with a more mellow and relaxing feel (with sofas).
THE ROOM: We had a basic king suite. Very nice set up. Many reviewers complained about the absence of a phone, hasp lock, and closet/dresser. Considering this is one Marriott’s minimalists brands located in a bustling spot (Stratford Station, Stratford Shopping Centre, Westfield Mall, University, etc.) the lack of room amenities is understood. Besides, it is a hotel stay… not a lease. The room was neat, clean, and just perfect.”
