“This hotel is beautiful. We stay in a lot of Hilton’s traveling for work. It would’ve been one of our favorites and we would have rated it five stars if not for a few things... the room wasn’t as clean as we would have hoped with COVID-19. An old que tip was still on the bathroom counter. You can tell the maid doesn’t clean the shower thoroughly, lots of mildew in the corners and underneath the stool.
The robe hanging in the closet was still dirty. Maybe the last guest hung it back up in the closet instead of leaving it out.
And some of the employees were out back taking cigarette breaks every hour. I couldn’t go on the balcony without hearing them or smelling the smoke. And they were not 25 feet away from the building. So it was very unpleasant breathing that in while loading up our vehicle.
But the front desk people were great and very helpful.”
