“Hotel was spotlessly clean. Everyday we were there we saw people cleaning, and always smelled fresh. The location is great. About a mile to get to Honky Tonks on Broadway. Quite a few shops and good restaurants nearby (Gumbo Bros, Stock and Barrel, and Peg Leg Porker excellent). Rooftop bar was a nice option for stopping in for a drink. Every person we encountered was very friendly, greeting us with a smile. Special shout out to Joe, who gave us the biggest smile and warmest welcome when we checked in. We had a rough last hour and a half to a long drive getting there, and his greeting immediately cheered us up. Every time he saw us, he always asked what we were up to that day. His cheerfulness made our stay better.”

“A lot of construction in the area, no fault of the hotel, but made it difficult to get around. The parking was adequate but completely overpriced. The breakfast was good, the front desk, when there was someone there was very friendly. Rooms are small and well kept. The bathroom had a lot of peeling paint on the ceiling. The rooftop bar and restaurant is non existent. It was closed without any notification to guests. I was planning on dining there on my last night and enjoying the view of Nashville, only to find a sign that said closed for a private event, when in actuality, it was not open at all. With all of the hotels in Nashville, this will not be recommended or be on the list for a return visit. It has potential, but fell short.”
