“My stay was very disappointing. I was informed at check in that the pool was "closed indefinitely " . We get to our room and it was pretty stuffy, turned ac down, went got dinner came back still hot. Purchased a fan from Walmart, notified staff of ac problem. Maintenance looked at it, told me to give it another 45 minutes. Forty five minutes later we notify the front desk and we finally get moved to another room around 8:30 pm. I asked if we could leave and get a refund but was told no by staff (Zaria).Upon check out I asked to speak to a manager and was told I'd have to call back on Monday so I did. My complaint was that I dont feel that I should be charged full price for a sub par hotel with a broken ac, no pool, and rude staff. The assistant manager (Sybil) was immediately defensive and treated ne as if I wanted something for nothing. I asked for the GM (Michelle)and tried explaining my situation and she offered a $20 discount in which I didnt feel was satisfactory. Our conversation turned argumentative and when I asked for her supervisors name and number SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!! This place needs a complete management change! I will never giver Marriott my business again!”
