“The Amway was a fantastic stay! The location is perfect - at the center of everything in Grand Rapids. Drew was courteous and delivered excellent customer service! He checked us in and generously took the time to share several dining options with us (making recommendations as we provided him with what we were looking for during our trip). When my room was made available for later in the evening, he hand-delivered the keys to me in my friend's room later that afternoon. Parking is conveniently located across from the hotel (connected via a sky bridge), the junior king suite was phenomenal (with a view), and we loved having a Starbucks attached to the building. My colleagues have planned to stay there for their subsequent visit this coming week. Highly recommended!”

“Okay so let me just start by saying, yes it’s a nice historic hotel. Staff is friendly. HOWEVER. The AC in the room barely works. Feels like baby’s breath at 60 degree level we were still sweating. The street noise is literally another level of loud… all night long. Pillows were very uncomfortable. The rooms smelt like mildew. The walls to the historic side are also paper thin, you can IMAGINE what you hear.No room service still bc of covid… even though the entire staff isn’t wearing masks.Before staying here really make sure it’s what you want.. I asked for an updated room they said this was it. Unfortunately I didn’t realize the new tower was completely closed, and was sent fo the historic side with modern shadows is what I was told when I was checking in.”
